Acante empowers modern data teams with the easiest Data Access Governance solution, and it tightly integration with Unity Catalog. It radically simplifies data security observability, access compliance, and multi-platform access control for their data lakehouse ecosystems.

Databricks Integration

Acante is a registered Databricks Technology Partner, bringing its powerful data security and governance capabilities to the Databricks ecosystem.
The Acante product is tightly integrated with Unity Catalog and uses OAuth for authentication. Getting started with Acante is quick and involves running a notebook as described in the Getting Started guide. Unity Catalog provides provides rich platform telemetry including platform configurations, schemas, identities, RBAC policies, audit logs, lineage, and so on. The integration collects and processes this metadata in a secure fashion and provides the security and governance insights in the Acante (SaaS) UI. Consistent with Acante's security architectural principles, the actual data in the Databricks platform nevers leaves the customer environment. Data classification processing is done within the customer VPC.
